You can earn a wage and gain experience working in the hospitality industry in the exciting tourist centre of Surfer's Paradise. This beautiful city is situated on the coast one hour south of Brisbane and boasts some of the most beautiful surfing beaches in the world.

If you like the idea of working with koalas, dingoes and crocodiles you can volunteer to work in one of the local zoos.

If you want the wide-open spaces of Australia's spectacular outback and to experience its way of life, you can volunteer to be a jackaroo or a jillaroo on a sheep or cattle station.
