You will need at least GCSE level Spanish to ensure you get the most out of your placement but you will be amazed at how quickly your language skills improve. Argentineans' love it when you make the effort to speak their language and you will find them extremely encouraging and welcoming.
Argentina has become a leading destination for those looking to travel and has something for everyone. There are glaciers in the South and deserts in the North, stunning mountain ranges in the West and amazing waterfalls in the East. The cities are really exciting places full of history and culture, but there is one thing that anyone who has been to Argentina will talk about and that is the size and the quality of the steaks! You won't believe how cheap they are too.
A placement here will ensure you to gain valuable experiences, improve your Spanish and build your affection for the South American way of life. Argentina is ideally setup for you to travel after your placement. It is a huge country itself (the 8th largest in the world) but also borders Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
