Volunteers are responsible for the purchase of flights, visa, insurance, personal equipment, medical preparations and vaccinations, although advice will be given by Azafady to assist you in these arrangements. Pre-project costs usually come to approximately £1,000 - £1500. To cover any additional in-country costs, we suggest about £250 pocket money; more if you plan to travel in Madagascar after the program.
