For those interested in working in the arts then Changing Worlds can offer you the chance to work in this field. This would provide you with a distinct opportunity to gain some relevant work experience in this important area that can be instantly transferable to employment in the UK and in Europe.

We seek people with a genuine interest in any field of art and art history. Our placements will bring you in contact with working artists of all descriptions including painters and sculptors.

You will quickly learn from their styles and techniques and will have the opportunity to apply these new found skills in the field. You will work along side local colleagues as they will enjoy learning from you as you do from them.

Living in a culture that is different from your own will bring you a wider understanding of art, craft and design that will be useful to you in the future.

In all cases we encourage you to use your skills and interests to work with younger children as this will increase their own thoughts and ideas long after you have returned home.

For those interested in studying arts Changing Worlds can offer you the opportunity to interact  and working with artists of all descriptions including painters and sculptors in  the city of Chennai  (southern  India)  and  actually live in an artists  colony on the sea shore.

This would provide you with a distinct opportunity to brainstorm with widely  traveled and  reputed and internationally recognized artistes. Exhibitions of their work have been held in  different  parts of the world. Cultural organizations like the British Council. , American Cultural  centre, the Germans namely the  Max Muller Bhavan . Alliance France etc., have frequent contact with them in addition to holding exhibitions of their work

We think this is the only placement of its kind for arts/potential  students  leading to meaningful progress. Accommodation and food offered   in the colony guest house  which is about 12 km from the centre of the city with excellent public transport system. This is probably cost effective if 2 arts volunteers  shared the large room.

Living in a culture that is different from your own will bring you a wider understanding of art, craft and design of the region .
