What happens in the event of illness?

Changing Worlds' participants are placed together and are briefed to look for signs of ill-health in each other and to assist if possible.

In the event of illness, local medical help would be sought (the host would help with this). The representative and UK office would be informed if the illness were potentially serious.

If the problem persisted the representative would become more involved. In very serious cases hospitalisation or repatriation might be required at which point the UK office and the representative would actively manage the situation.
