Will I get adequate support overseas?

We believe that the quality of support that we offer is one of the main reasons that people recommend us.

Nearly all our staff in the UK have worked for Changing Worlds for at least 2 years. 

Our in country representatives have expert knowledge of the country and have experience of dealing with a variety of situations. Most have travelled widely themselves and are used to living and working overseas.

English is the first language for nearly all of our in-country staff.

What happens if I get sick?

Changing Worlds' participants are placed together and are briefed to look for signs of illness in each other and to help where possible. For minor health problems you will be able to seek local medical help (your host will have briefed you on location of doctors and pharmacists etc).

If the illness is potentially serious, the local rep and the UK office will be informed and, if it persists, the rep will work out a course of action to ensure appropriate treatment is received. Any situation requiring hospitalisation or repatriation would actively be managed by the rep and the UK office.
