Our orphanage placements are in and around the provincial town of Tukums, a typical Latvian town with its shops, post office and market place.

The town has easy road and rail access to Riga (one hour away). Riga, ‘the cappuccino capital of  Europe’, boasts some of the most beautiful architecture in Eastern Europe with its narrow cobbled streets, plenty of shops and good restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.

You will enjoy the social life in this bubbling city during your weekends!
