Some of our teaching and orphanage placements are in and around the city of San Pedro Sula, the second largest Honduran city.  It is a busy city full of shops, markets, bars, disco's and cafes.  The town has excellent, reliable and cheep road and air access to all parts of Honduras.

If you are interested in a D.J. placement you will stay and work in San Pedro Sula.

Our other teaching placements are in a rural school close to the town of Copan Ruinas in the mountains to the West.

Our hospitality placements are in hostels on the beach near Trujillo or on the tropical island of Utila in the Bay Islands.

The bird park, complete with macaws and parrots, is in the mountains of western Honduras some three hours drive from San Pedro Sula close to the Guatamalan border. It is possible to mix some teaching with work in the bird park as they are located very close together near Copan Ruinas.
